Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund is pleased to announce an investment in Zinc Systems

The Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund is pleased to announce an investment in Zinc Systems, a UK-based company, specialising in Critical Event Management (CEM) software. Their flagship platform, SYNAPSE, is a SaaS solution designed to empower risk, security, and safety leaders. SYNAPSE ensures high standards of control and assurance in managing critical incidents, safeguarding business continuity and the safety of individuals.

Founded by Joe Zielinski in 2004, Zinc Systems initially focused on creating bespoke security applications. By 2018, the company streamlined its offerings to focus on SYNAPSE, an intuitive CEM platform tailored for organisations operating in high-risk and complex environments.

In July 2022, Zinc received its first round of investment from Maven Capital Partners, which enabled Zinc to accelerate its product development and expand its sales and marketing teams.

Today, Zinc is recognised for its excellence, winning the Security & Fire Excellence Awards for "Security Software-as-Service Product of the Year" and trusted by a diverse enterprise client base. Zinc holds ISO27001, Secured by Design and Cyber Essentials accreditations, and is approved on key government frameworks such as G-Cloud 13 and the Vertical Application Framework.

Looking ahead, Zinc Systems aims to bolster its growth with this new investment. The focus will be on sector specific and global sales exacution, enhanced marketing strategies, customer success and the development of strategic partnerships in resellers and system integrations.
